London estate agency makes first move south

AN estate agent with a difference has opened in Brighton and Hove.

London-based Lextons now has an office in Church Road, Hove.

Director Peter Phillips said: “We’re thrilled to be opening here. We know the area well and all have our own experiences of buying, selling and letting here.

“But what really excites us is just how many people are looking to move into Brighton and Hove from London.

“We’ve been working in the London property market for the past seven years and understand what buyers from London are looking for.

“They are used to receiving a particular level of service from estate agents and if they don’t find this, they’ll go elsewhere.

“We’ve therefore spotted a great opportunity to blend our rapport with London buyers with our in-depth knowledge of Brighton and Hove to help the many buyers who are looking to move here from the capital.”

Mr Phillips said combining local knowledge with its London experience means “we can offer something other agents can’t.”

He says the market here is strong and set to stay that way. He said: “The forthcoming departure from the EU has encouraged international buyers, looking to make the most of the weaker pound, to invest in London.”
