A CAR crash caused delays on Brighton seafront.
The silver Peugeot smashed into railings near the coast road’s junction with East Street at around 9.40am today.
The windscreen was broken, and the front-left wheel badly damaged.
Traffic into Brighton city centre was at a standstill, with queues stretching as far back as Old Steine from the crash site.
The driver said it was an “accident” when The Argus was at the scene.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to a car colliding with the kerb in King’s Road, Brighton, at 9.40am on Friday. No injuries were reported.”
